This group meets regularly once a month, providing a forum in which information and ideas for action are shared. The group consists of members of local environmental groups and climate activists.
The groups currently represented are Friends of the Earth (Conwy), Extinction Rebellion North Wales, GwyrddNi, Divest Gwynedd, the North Wales Africa Society and Christan Aid Wales. It also includes individuals of different backgrounds, some working the land and others involved with NGOs and Welsh environmental bodies.

The group aims to:

put pressure on local politicians to ensure each council’s climate action plan is sufficiently ambitious and wide ranging to make a difference locally

work at local level in order to empower people to take action individually and locally
